A LITTLE BIT ABOUT AGNES:
Just over a month ago we suffered the first named UK winter storm of 2023, Storm Agnes, and on the night this storm was raging, this poor girl was found dumped with her kittens behind bins.
We named her Agnes, and her babies all have storm-themed names too (girls Babet, Debi, Elin and Minnie, and the only boy of the litter we named after Hurricane Nigel).
Her kittens have thrived and are now 6 weeks old, with homes already lined up. But poor Agnes remains
completely terrified, and the search is now on for her happy ever after...a home where she can decompress, with understanding humans who will give her space and patience and perhaps a feline friend or two.
It will still be a few weeks before she's ready to go, as she is yet to be spayed, though this will be booked in shortly. But we also know that nervous cats like Agnes can find it harder to find homes, so we are sharing her story now in the hope of finding her perfect person.
Agnes is only a youngster, between 1 and 2 years old, and she deserves the opportunity to finally start living her best life as a young, carefree cat.
