A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HOPPITY:
This beautiful boy has been through an awful lot and is a prime example of why you MUST get your cats neutered.
With hormones raging, male cats will roam and fight for territory, and this was poor Hoppity’s life for eight years! He sustained some nasty injuries during this time, including a severe leg wound and more recently, a very bad bite to his neck which, left untreated, had become necrotic.
He was finally signed over into our care for treatment, and his neck has now healed nicely and he has of course been neutered. The emotional healing took a little longer, as he was initially quite shut down and traumatised, but now he is vocal and friendly...at times still a little unsure, but he does love contact and fuss and he can usually be found at the front of his pen calling out for attention.
He has made incredible progress during the time he has been with us, and we feel that in a stable, loving home, this boy will thrive.
