A LITTLE BIT ABOUT LESLEY & CHANDLER:
Shockingly, Lesley and her son Chandler were found by dog walkers, along with another young cat, having been dumped in a box next to a railway line. Luckily, the dogs sniffed them out and the dogs’ owners immediately brought them to us; had they not, who knows what may have happened to these poor babies. Though named after famous triplets (Friends fans will get the reference to Lesley, Chandler and Frank Jr Jr!) we actually believe them to be mum and sons from different litters, as Lesley is estimated to be around 2 years old, Frank (who is being adopted separately) is almost a year and little Chandler is between 3 and 4 months old. While Lesley and Frank are loving and confident-quite surprising, given their circumstances-little Chandler is much more shy and scared of people. This leads us to believe that he, unlike his mum and older brother, has not been socialised, which suggests a dramatic change in their owner’s circumstances which led to them being abandoned. Chandler is very bonded with his mum, and they are often found cuddled up together, so they need to go as a pair. Chandler is making great progress, and already starting to trust our team, so we feel that he and Lesley have the potential to be a really loving pair of cats once settled in their forever home.
