NALA
Age: 1 year
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Female
Looking for: A loving home, preferably as the only cat. Older children only.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT NALA:
Nala arrived in our care heavily pregnant, and has done an excellent job raising five of the biggest (and prettiest!) kittens we have ever seen (all now reserved). She and the family are currently in a foster home, and Nala is booked in to be spayed next week, after which she’ll be ready to go and start living her new life. She’s been such a good mama, but her kittens have drained her so she’s glad to have space from them at times and she’s definitely ready for a home of her own.
Estimated around a year old, she is a lovely, affectionate cat but she certainly has her quirks…she’s a grumbly girl and even now she still hisses at her foster carer when served breakfast each day! There’s no malice behind it, we just think Nala gets her miaows and purrs mixed up with growls and hisses; she’ll grumble away while she eats or is stroked - it’s actually rather entertaining when you get used to it!
She’s definitely a girl who chooses her friends-she’ll hide away from some visitors but then be straight on the lap of others! She does seem to like men, and we suspect she was previously owned by a man.
She’s a beautiful little lady with lots of love to give and lots to say for herself too! To apply to adopt Nala, please complete our online form.
All animals at our centre are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and health checked by a veterinarian.
